TLDR Lokivetmab reduced itching in a dog with skin lymphoma.
A 13-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with cutaneous epitheliotropic lymphoma (CEL) showed no improvement in pruritus and dermatological symptoms with long-term prednisolone treatment. However, the addition of lokivetmab led to a steady improvement in pruritus and maintained remission. This case suggests the need for further research on the role of IL-31 in the pruritus pathway in dogs with CEL.
