TLDR The Locked Cheek Lift is a simple, effective method for cheek and lower eyelid rejuvenation with a high success rate and minimal complications.
The study introduced the Locked Cheek Lift (LCL) technique for mid-face rejuvenation, which effectively lifts the malar fat pad in two planes without a lower eyelid incision. Conducted on 115 patients aged 37-71, the technique showed a 95.7% success rate in maintaining lid cheek distance correction after one year, with minimal postoperative complications. The LCL was found to be a simple, rapid, and effective method for correcting cheek gravitational migration and reducing lid cheek distance, offering a short recovery period and stable long-term results.
