Lasers Uses in the Treatment of Alopecia Areata: Review Article

    TLDR Fractional laser therapy may help regrow hair in alopecia areata.
    Fractional laser therapy has shown promise in treating alopecia areata by stimulating hair regeneration through skin heating and enhancing the delivery of topical treatments like minoxidil and corticosteroids. This review, which analyzed studies from April 2000 to June 2021, suggests that fractional lasers can directly and indirectly benefit hair follicles, potentially aiding in the recovery of hair growth in non-scarring alopecia cases.
