TLDR Wetar Island honey has varying potassium and iron levels, affecting its health benefits.
The study analyzed the mineral content of potassium (K) and iron (Fe) in honey from Wetar Island, Ilputi Village, Southwest Maluku, to enhance understanding of its scientific properties. The potassium content varied across three replications, with values of 0.067, 0.020, and 0.222 mg/g, while the iron content was measured at 8.395, 8.417, and 0.406 mg/g. The findings highlighted the variability in mineral content, which could influence honey's potential benefits for relieving fatigue, improving skin smoothness, and promoting hair growth.
