Formulation and Upscaling of Herbal Shampoos by Aloe Vera L. and Camellia Sinensis L. Powders

This study developed a natural herbal shampoo using Aloe vera and Camelia sinensis powders, aiming to provide a safe and effective alternative to synthetic shampoos. The shampoo was designed to cleanse, strengthen, darken, and promote hair growth. Performance tests showed a pH of 5.7, density of 0.9, viscosity of 1.960.64, and surface tension of 50.644.21, which are typical for herbal shampoos. The absence of harsh chemicals results in higher surface tension and lower viscosity. The study concluded that this formulation is a viable natural alternative for hair care, highlighting the potential of medicinal plants in personal care and suggesting further research to enhance efficacy, stability, and sensory appeal.
