The study aimed to formulate and evaluate a poly-herbal shampoo using ingredients like hibiscus, neem, henna, amla, shikakai, ritha, aloe vera, banyan root, and soya milk. These ingredients were combined to create a shampoo that was assessed for its organoleptic and physico-chemical properties. The herbal shampoo demonstrated benefits such as cleansing, conditioning, smoothing hair, and maintaining hair health by being free of dandruff, dirt, grease, and lice. The study highlighted the advantages of herbal cosmetics, including their non-toxic nature and reduced allergic reactions. The findings suggest that the herbal shampoo has promising properties for use as a cosmetic product, with potential for further optimization.
