The study aimed to create and evaluate a herbal hair dye using extracts from various herbs, including henna and indigo, in different ratios. The F3 formulation, with a henna to indigo ratio of 1:2, produced a dark brown to black color similar to natural hair. This formulation showed superior dyeing effects, no skin irritation, no unpleasant odor, good retention, hair growth promotion, suitability for all ages, and eco-friendliness compared to synthetic dyes.
