TLDR The woman's hair loss pattern doesn't match typical conditions like alopecia areata or female pattern hair loss.
A 20-year-old woman experienced progressive asymptomatic hair loss over seven years, starting on her eyebrows and spreading to her scalp. Despite previous diagnoses of alopecia areata or female pattern hair loss, her condition did not match these patterns. The hair loss areas changed gradually, with some improving and others worsening. Clinical examination revealed multiple broken hairs of varying lengths without actual baldness, and trichoscopic examination showed no inflammation, hair miniaturization, or exclamation mark hairs.
