TLDR Mineral deficiencies in pregnant women can be improved with proper supplementation.
The study measured hair concentrations of calcium, iron, and zinc in 93 pregnant women in Tianjin, China, who were deficient in these minerals. Hair element levels were initially measured in 82 subjects, who then received supplements corresponding to their deficiencies for over 2 months. Follow-up measurements were taken in 84 subjects, with a final measurement in 13 subjects near the end of pregnancy. The study found that hair concentrations of these minerals reflected the effects of supplementation. It also revealed mutual resistance among the supplements, which could be mitigated by appropriate combinations, enhancing their mutual benefits. The study concluded that mineral deficiencies could be addressed through adequate supplementation.

community Why don’t more people use hair fibers?

in Product  527 upvotes 2 months ago
Hair fibers can effectively cover thinning hair when used with minoxidil and hairspray but require daily application and can be inconvenient in certain conditions. Some users prefer treatments like finasteride, dutasteride, microneedling, or wigs due to the maintenance and limitations of hair fibers.
