Formulation and Physical Quality Tests of Hair Fertilizer Preparations from Lemongrass (Chrysopogon Zizanioides) and VCO (Virgin Coconut Oil)

    TLDR The hair oil with lemongrass and coconut oil promotes hair growth effectively.
    The study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of a hair-fertilizing oil made from a combination of citronella oil and virgin coconut oil (VCO). Using an experimental method, the oil preparations were tested on 3 rabbits divided into 6 groups. The results showed that the oil preparation was stable during storage. On day 28, hair growth measurements were 8.3 mm for the positive control, 4.17 mm for the negative control, 4.83 mm for formula 1, 5.17 mm for formula 2, 6.33 mm for formula 3, and 7.83 mm for formula 4. Duncan's test indicated that formula 4's hair growth was not significantly different from the positive control but was significantly better than formulas 1, 2, and 3.
