TLDR Consumers prefer general hair care products over those specifically for hair loss.
The study analyzed consumer preferences for hair care products targeting hair loss by examining sales data and reviews from Taobao and conducting a questionnaire-based experiment. It found that consumers prioritize factors like smoothness, flavor, oil control, cost-effectiveness, and good reviews over anti-hair loss functions. Consequently, hair care products designed specifically for hair loss are not preferred over ordinary products, suggesting that manufacturers should focus more on general consumer preferences rather than the specific causes of hair loss.
