TLDR A baby had a rare case of widespread milia, which was treated and is being monitored.
A rare case of multiple eruptive milia (MEM) in a 3-month-old healthy infant is reported, characterized by widespread, persistent white papules since birth. Histopathological examination confirmed the diagnosis, showing keratin-filled cysts. The etiology of MEM remains unclear, with potential triggers including sunlight and friction. Treatment involved needle extirpation for larger lesions, and the benign nature of the condition was explained to the parents. The case highlights the importance of awareness among healthcare professionals for early detection of any syndromic associations.
