TLDR Poly herbal shampoo powders are effective for hair care and meet modern needs.
The study formulated and evaluated poly herbal shampoo powders using natural herbs like Aswagandha, Tulsi, Ginger, Hibiscus, Aloe vera, Amla, and Soap nut, aiming to avoid the toxic effects of chemical ingredients. Four formulations (F1, F2, F3, F4) were created and assessed for organoleptic properties, general powder characteristics, and physicochemical properties. All formulations showed good results in terms of color, odor, texture, pH, moisture content, total ash contents, acid insoluble ash, dirt dispersion, and foaming capacity. The study concluded that the poly herbal shampoo powders were effective in strengthening hair growth, preventing hair fall and dandruff, and acting as antibacterial conditioners without damaging hair or skin. Further stability studies were recommended.
