TLDR L-GF injections improved hair growth in women with minimal side effects.
The study evaluated the clinical benefits of lyophilized platelet-derived growth factors (L-GF) injections in 20 female patients with androgenetic alopecia (AGA). Conducted at Ain Shams University Hospital, the treatment showed improvement in AGA with minimal side effects. Despite the small sample size, the results were statistically significant, suggesting that L-GF injections could be a new therapeutic option for delivering platelet growth factors. Further large-scale comparative studies are needed to confirm these findings.

Exosomes are being discussed as a potential hair loss treatment, with some users skeptical about their effectiveness and stability. There is interest in different types of exosomes, including those derived from centella asiatica, and comparisons are made to other treatments like finasteride.
