Folliculotropic mycosis fungoides of external ear: a case study

This case study focused on a 64-year-old man diagnosed with folliculotropic mycosis fungoides (FMF), a rare form of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma. The patient exhibited indurated red boggy skin near the right ear for 9 months, unresponsive to antibiotics. Histological examination revealed a prominent lymphocytic infiltrate with an aberrant phenotype within hyperplastic hair follicles. The study highlighted the clinical presentation and histological characteristics of FMF, discussing potential therapies and expected outcomes.
