    A 61-year-old man experienced sexual side effects during treatment with finasteride and tamsulosin for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). His therapy with the medications was discontinued, and he received herbal/holistic supplements, which failed to relieve his symptoms. He underwent prostatic artery embolisation, which successfully alleviated his symptoms. The author commented that the medications were discontinued due to sexual side effects.
