    TLDR Man experienced lasting sexual dysfunction from finasteride, but malpractice claim was rejected.
    A 31-year-old man developed post-finasteride syndrome manifested as erectile dysfunction and decreased sexual desire during treatment with finasteride for androgenetic alopecia. The sexual dysfunction persisted for several months even after treatment discontinuation leading to severe psychological stress. The man claimed medical malpractice and accused the dermatologist of not having adequately informed him about the possibility of post-finasteride syndrome. The expert commission finally followed the dermatologist opinion and rejected the accusation of malpractice.
