Feasibility of Green Spinach (Amaranthus Hybridus L) Leaves as Hair Tonic for Hair Loss

    The study investigated the feasibility of using green spinach (Amaranthus hybridus L) leaves as a hair tonic for hair loss. It analyzed the vitamin content, with findings showing 0.1847% vitamin B and 21.56% vitamin C per 100 grams of sample. Organoleptic tests revealed that 57.1% of panelists found the odor less distinctive, 71.42% rated the color as greenish-yellow, and 57.1% noted good absorption. The hedonic test indicated that the hair tonic was generally liked by the observers, suggesting its potential effectiveness and acceptability as a hair care product.
