This case study documents a fatal instance of Stevens-Johnson syndrome (SJS) and toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN) in a 76-year-old woman, potentially induced by doxycycline or flucloxacillin. Despite prompt discontinuation of the suspected drugs and intensive care, including IV antibiotics, steroids, and immunoglobulin, the patient's condition worsened, leading to her death. The case emphasizes the importance of recognizing and managing this rare but serious adverse drug reaction, particularly in elderly patients, as SJS/TEN can rapidly progress despite early intervention.
