TLDR Artificial hair implantation is a safe and effective hair restoration method with high patient satisfaction.
Artificial hair implantation, particularly using Biofibre®, was explored as a viable option for hair restoration in cases of androgenetic alopecia, especially when traditional therapies were ineffective or donor hair was insufficient. In a study involving 133 patients, the procedure demonstrated a fiber loss of no more than 10% per year in 91.4% of cases, with a high satisfaction rate of 96.2% among patients. The study concluded that artificial hair implantation was a safe and effective method for both men and women, offering an immediate aesthetic solution, particularly beneficial for those with limited donor hair or seeking quick results.

The conversation discusses hair transplants, including the use of techniques like FUE and the importance of a good donor area to avoid visible bald patches. It also touches on alternative treatments like Minoxidil, Finasteride, and Pyrolutimide, and debates the idea of embracing baldness versus seeking treatments.
