    The ethnomycological study of the Pamona community around Lake Poso, Central Sulawesi, Indonesia, identified 21 species of macrofungi used for food, medicine, hair growth agents, animal feed, and lighting. Schizophyllum commune and Auricularia auricula-judae were the most frequently cited species. The study, involving 300 respondents, highlighted the community's significant traditional knowledge in utilizing macrofungi to combat malnutrition and treat diseases, emphasizing the need for conservation and sustainable use of these natural resources.
