TLDR Hair from different ethnic groups affects soil nutrient release differently.
The study investigated the elemental composition of hair from different ethnic groups and its impact on nitrogen and phosphorus mineralization in soil. It found that hair from various ethnicities contains different levels of elements, which in turn affects the rate at which these nutrients are released into the soil. This suggests that the use of human hair as a soil amendment could be tailored based on its origin to optimize soil fertility and nutrient availability.
