TLDR Keratin proteins are consistent across different hair types from the same person.
The study compared the electrophoretic patterns of proteins extracted from various types of human hair (head, pubic, breast, beard, arm, leg, axillary, and eyebrow) using sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. It found that the keratin phenotypes were consistent across different hair types from the same individual. Additionally, keratin typing could be successfully performed after determining the ABH blood group using mixed cell agglutination with the same hair samples.
