TLDR Wigs greatly improve life quality for hair loss patients.
The study found that wearing wigs significantly improved the quality of life (QOL) of patients with androgenetic alopecia (AGA), including competence, adaptability, and self-esteem. The study used the Psychosocial Impact of Assistive Device Scale (PIADS) to evaluate the QOL of patients before and after wearing wigs. The study concluded that wigs are useful assistive devices to improve the QOL of patients with AGA.
