TLDR Miliacin helps extend the hair growth phase in mice with hair loss.
The study on C57BL/6 mice with androgenetic alopecia found that miliacin significantly prolonged the anagen phase of hair growth. Thirty male mice were divided into five groups, including a control, and groups treated with 2% minoxidil, miliacin, or a placebo. Miliacin-treated mice had 77.26% of hair follicles in the anagen phase, a higher proportion than other groups, suggesting miliacin's potential effectiveness in treating androgenetic alopecia.
