The study investigated the effects of microneedling combined with drug delivery on facial rejuvenation in 30 volunteers with facial aging, divided into two groups. Group 1 received microneedling with saline, while Group 2 received microneedling with growth factors. Both groups underwent two treatment sessions. Results showed that both groups had satisfactory clinical outcomes, but Group 2 demonstrated significant improvements in facial symmetry and a greater increase in collagen and elastin, particularly type I collagen, compared to Group 1. The study concluded that microneedling with growth factors enhanced collagen production and connective tissue reorganization more effectively than microneedling without additional cosmetological agents.
