TLDR Early detection of apolipoprotein levels helps reduce depression risk in the elderly.
The study focuses on preventing and managing depression in the elderly by screening for apolipoprotein A and B, which are linked to depression. Using the PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Act) method, the program includes health education on nutrition, physical activity, and social support. Results show that among the elderly participants, the average levels of apolipoprotein A and B were 155.59 mg/dL and 93.2 mg/dL, respectively. Additionally, 59.1% of the elderly did not experience depression, while 20.4% had mild depression, 9.7% moderate, and 10.8% severe. Early detection is crucial for managing apolipoprotein levels, reducing depression risk, and improving the quality of life for the elderly.
