TLDR Less frequent intercourse is linked to higher erectile dysfunction.
The study investigated the relationship between depression levels and erectile dysfunction among 41 homosexual men in Surakarta, aged 20-50. Using the PHQ-9 for depression and the IIEF for erectile function, the study found no significant correlation between depression levels and erectile dysfunction (r=0.158, p=0.323). However, a significant negative correlation was found between the frequency of sexual intercourse and erectile dysfunction (r= -0.389, p=0.012), indicating that less frequent intercourse is associated with a higher likelihood of erectile dysfunction.
