The study investigated the prevalence of cutaneous markers in 115 patients with confirmed coronary artery disease (CAD) through coronary angiography. It found that a preauricular crease was present in 77% of cases, making it the most common marker, followed by corneal arcus in 67.8%, achocordon in 47%, and earlobe crease in 45.2% of cases. The findings suggested that the preauricular crease was notably prevalent in CAD cases and could be further explored for its relationship with CAD.
