TLDR Doublebase gel hydrates skin better and is preferred by most users over Aqueous cream.
The study compared Doublebase (DB) gel and Aqueous Cream (AC) in 20 participants over 7 days, finding that DB gel provided higher and more sustained skin hydration. DB gel was preferred by 85% of participants due to its better consistency, ease of use, and absorption, compared to 40% for AC. The superior performance of DB gel was linked to its glycerol content and unique formulation, with no adverse effects reported for either product.
