Comparative Clinical Assessment of 5% Minoxidil Topical Application with Supplemental Intradermal Meso-Solution Administration for the Management of Androgenetic Alopecia in Men

The study compared the effectiveness of 5% minoxidil topical application alone versus its combination with intradermal meso-solution (MS) injections for treating androgenetic alopecia in men. Conducted on 60 men, the study found that the combination treatment showed a statistically significant increase in hair regrowth at 6 months (P < 0.05), which became highly significant at 9 and 12 months (P < 0.001), compared to minoxidil alone. The study concluded that adding MS injections to minoxidil treatment enhances hair regrowth, making it a more effective option.
