The study evaluated the effectiveness of a combination therapy using a 308-nm excimer laser, compound glycyrrhizin, and 0.03% tacrolimus for treating pediatric facial and cervical vitiligo. Involving 112 children, the treatment group (56 patients) showed a significantly higher efficacy rate (89.53%) compared to the control group (70.51%) who received only glycyrrhizin and tacrolimus. The treatment group also experienced faster initial repigmentation on the face and neck and exhibited predominantly mixed repigmentation patterns. Adverse events were rare and self-limited, indicating that the combination therapy is both safe and effective for this condition.
