TLDR Carvone helps treat skin issues by reducing melanin and stopping harmful cell growth.
Carvone, a natural compound found in essential oils, has the potential to treat melanomas and hyperpigmentation-related dermatological disorders by decreasing melanin content and inhibiting melanoma cell proliferation through the cAMP pathway. It can be used as a potential therapeutic agent for melanoma treatment without affecting normal skin cells. Further research is needed to confirm its potential as a functional ingredient for various industries.
