TLDR Oral minipulse therapy effectively treated bullous lichen planus in a 35-year-old woman.
A 35-year-old female with bullous lichen planus was successfully treated with oral minipulse therapy using 5 mg of betamethasone taken for two consecutive days each week over six months, followed by a gradual dose reduction. The patient achieved complete remission of lesions on the face, scalp, buccal mucosa, and tongue, with no recurrence during a 1.5-year follow-up, demonstrating the efficacy of this therapy as an effective alternative to topical treatments for moderate to severe oral lichen planus.
