TLDR Ayurvedic treatments may help reduce hypothyroidism symptoms.
This single case study investigates the Ayurvedic management of hypothyroidism in a 35-year-old female patient, using Gandmala Kandan Rasa, Kanchanar Guggulu, and Varunadi Kwath over 90 days. The patient experienced symptomatic relief and a reduction in TSH levels, indicating the potential effectiveness of these treatments. The Ayurvedic formulations possess various beneficial properties, including anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory effects, which may address hypothyroidism symptoms. Despite the study's limitation of involving only one patient, it suggests the need for further research with a larger sample size to validate these findings.
