The system calculates parameters like hair density, average hair dimensions, and distinguishes between hair types without manual input. Although the number of participants was not mentioned, the system was tested with samples from the Calcutta School of Tropical Medicine and showed satisfactory results. It aimed to streamline the diagnostic process for alopecia, potentially saving time for patients and dermatologists.
