TLDR The patient improved with treatment for depilating folliculitis.
The document presented a case report of a 26-year-old male with an 8.5-year history of Arnozán-Dubreuilh depilating folliculitis, characterized by inflammatory papules, pustules, tiny scars, and hair loss in affected areas such as the scalp, underarms, thighs, pubis, and legs. This condition was noted to be uncommon in the authors' country but more frequent in warmer climates, particularly among peasants and sugar-cane workers. The condition showed a good response to treatment and had a seasonal outbreak pattern. The report emphasized the histopathologic pathogenesis of the condition.
