TLDR Inflammation and Demodex mites might contribute to hair loss, and targeting them could help treat it.
Many papers suggest that inflammation and Demodex mites may play a role in androgenetic alopecia (AGA), a common form of hair loss. Studies have shown a correlation between Demodex density and hair loss severity in AGA patients, and treatments targeting inflammation and Demodex may be useful in treating AGA. However, further research is needed to fully understand the relationship between these factors and AGA, and to develop effective treatments.
