The study conducted 9 years ago aimed to evaluate the effect of Pharmacopuncture Therapy and Needle-embedding Therapy on Androgenetic Alopecia in a woman. The patient was treated with acupuncture, pharmacopuncture, and needle-embedding, and her improvement was assessed through photographs and VAS (Visual Analogue Scale) score. The results showed a significant improvement in her hair loss and overall physical condition. The author suggested that further clinical studies are needed on needle-embedding therapy and Korean medical treatment for hair loss.
