These landmarks were then used to analyze beard lines with anthropometric methods in a study involving 32 male volunteers. The study concluded that the ideal upper and lower beard lines and the anatomical boundaries of the beard area could be determined using these landmarks, ensuring that beard restoration/reconstruction provides a more natural appearance.
