Alopecia Areata Incognita: A Case Report
TLDR Alopecia Areata Incognita causes sudden hair loss in young females but usually has a better outcome than other types.
Alopecia Areata Incognita (AAI) is an uncommon form of alopecia areata, mainly affecting young females, and is marked by sudden and intense hair loss rather than the typical bald patches seen in other forms of alopecia areata. AAI generally has a more favorable prognosis compared to alopecia areata totalis, universalis, and ophiasic areata.
