TLDR The document doesn't say if the treatment for hair loss worked.
In this case study, a 27-year-old Filipino male with a 3-month history of acute patchy hair loss, particularly on the vertex of the scalp, temple, and parietal ridges, was treated for alopecia areata (AA) using peptides and hyaluronic acid hair filler. The study highlights the autoimmune nature of AA, which leads to non-scarring hair loss and is often linked to a premature transition from the anagen to catagen or telogen phase. The patient provided written consent for participation, and no conflicts of interest or funding were declared.
