A Study on Efficacy of Injectable Platelet Rich Fibrin for Androgenetic Alopecia in Males

    The study investigated the efficacy of Injectable Platelet Rich Fibrin (I-PRF) for treating Androgenetic Alopecia (AGA) in 20 male patients over 20 weeks. I-PRF, a second-generation biomaterial, was administered monthly and assessed using clinical scales. Results showed a significant increase in hair count and improvement in both observer and patient scales, indicating that I-PRF is an effective single treatment modality for enhancing hair growth in males with AGA.
