The study identified the major ingredients of essential oils from Anethum graveolens L., Citrus limon (L.) Osbeck, and Zingiber officinale Roscoe using GC-MS analysis and evaluated their anticancer activities on four human breast cancer cell lines and their antioxidant activities using the DPPH assay. Citrus limon EO was the most effective against MCF-7 cells with an IC50 of 201 µg/mL, while Zingiber officinale EO exhibited the highest antioxidant activity. These findings suggest that these essential oils, particularly C. limon and Z. officinale, could be further explored as complementary medicines in cancer treatment.
