TLDR The ingredients could help prevent hair loss by promoting hair growth and increasing VEGF secretion.
The study evaluated the effects of Cinchona succirubra Extract, Leontopodium alpinum Extract, and Manganese PCA on hair growth by examining their impact on the Wnt/β-catenin pathway and VEGF secretion in Human Hair Follicle Dermal Papilla Cells. Results showed that Manganese PCA increased VEGF secretion by 234%, and the combination of all three ingredients activated the Wnt/β-catenin pathway by 148%, both compared to the basal control. The study concluded that these ingredients could be effective anti-hair loss treatments by promoting the Anagen phase and enhancing VEGF secretion.
