TLDR Minoxidil sulfate significantly improved hair growth in mice.
The study investigated the effects of 1% minoxidil sulfate injected subcutaneously on alopecia in CRF-OE mice. Groups of 5-month-old mice were treated with either a vehicle or minoxidil sulfate (1 mg/mouse) for 10 days. Hair growth was assessed at 1, 2, and 4 weeks post-treatment. Results showed that minoxidil sulfate significantly improved hair growth scores compared to the vehicle, with notable differences observed at 2 and 4 weeks after treatment. The study provided visual evidence of hair regrowth in treated mice, supporting the efficacy of minoxidil sulfate in promoting hair growth in this model.
