Results showed a significant increase in hair density from 179.2±5.5/cm² to 193.9±5.3/cm² (p<0.0001) and a slight increase in hair diameter from 54.9±2.3 mm to 55.3±2.3 mm (p<0.0565) on the GFC-treated side, while the saline-treated side showed no significant changes. The study concluded that iontophoresis with GFC including FGF5s was effective for hair growth in AGA patients, but further research is needed to assess long-term efficacy.
