medication used to treat inflammatory conditions and some hair loss
Sulfasalazine, also known by the brand name Azulfidine, is a medication primarily used to treat inflammatory conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis and ulcerative colitis. It works by reducing inflammation and modulating the immune system. In some cases, it has also been used off-label to treat certain types of alopecia, an autoimmune condition that causes hair loss.
