    GlossaryOdds Ratio

compares the odds of an event occurring between two groups

The Odds Ratio (OR) is a statistical measure used to determine the strength of association between two events, often used in medical research. For example, in a study examining the link between a specific treatment and hair regrowth in individuals with alopecia, an OR greater than 1 suggests that the treatment is associated with higher odds of hair regrowth, while an OR less than 1 suggests lower odds.
