Unusual Non-Infectious Cause of Meningitis

    TLDR A woman had meningitis caused by mixed connective tissue disease, not an infection.
    A case study of a woman in her 50s with symptoms of fever, headache, vomiting, and neck rigidity, along with inflammatory polyarthritis, cold sensitivity, puffy digits, alopecia, and easy fatigability, was diagnosed with aseptic meningitis related to mixed connective tissue disease (MCTD) after infectious causes were ruled out.
